Bravery

The picture above shows my level of courage. Not very impressive is it? Then again, I am not here to impress. Rather, try to spread some humble love.

Perchance chance brought you here to me, or maybe precisely your presence is somehow meant to be. Either way with you here the words will make sense and for that I want to thank you. Hopefully I can move you with these letters combined, but before we move on let me declare; I love you. You see if people can hate for no reason, I can love for no reason.

Time for the two of us to see where all of this reasoning takes us. Do you believe in a creator that is Love? I do, but I have some fragile parts. Not with the believing part because I know with one hundred percent certainty that there is a creator. After all I have had unexpected life- transforming personal experiences with him. My weakness is as the headline and picture suggest; I am not very brave. Also, as the photograph indicates this goes a long way back. They say an object is never stronger than its weakest part, and the broken and shattered parts is causing some fundamental problems.

Since you are here, blessing me with your presence I will share some of those fragmented parts. Hopefully you like brutal honesty: reading the Bible scares me. It has beautiful parts to it, but also very scary parts. Now for many of you this probably makes no sense. For those of you who have read the The tree of knowledge, it probably makes even less sense.

Dare I challenge us a little bit, do we not all have contradicting parts within ourselves? If we journey through self-development with truth in mind it is certain that we all would discover some inconsistencies.

These days I am working on my anxiety (and pure OCD) by having Bible studies with someone from Jehovah’s witnesses. Joining them is not an option because I have heard the Word. Chosen by him, not my own doing. Yet, I do not have all of the answers. Does this make the credibility of my account weaken? A question that brings to mind a study on expert predictions in the media. The experts most commonly chosen to give their predictions were (are) the ones with the most extreme prediction. When those estimates were measured on accuracy as time passed they tended to be pretty far-off or plain wrong. Whilst experts with more moderate predictions came much closer in terms of actual outcome. The shocking predictions are over-represented, as it gives the viewers/readers a more immediate emotional response. Although it sounds very negative it is like a race to the brain stem. Not claiming to be above it, very easy to get sucked into.

Yes, it sucks not to have all the answers and understand everything. Not admitting to this fact though involves being stuck deep in confirmation bias. For questions come prior to finding answers. Also, the Word as experienced is infinite wisdom, and it would be very very natural indeed for little me to fall short when this truth is taken into consideration.

Thank you for listening ❤

Hello friend. Nice to see you pop in now and then.
”Yes, it sucks not to have all the answers and understand everything.”Does it really? Ignorance and death is what makes life worth living. If you knew all the answers and underpinnings of every good and bad deed it would surely be a bore.
